Jasmine is truly the happiest dog I have ever seen! She brings joy to my life every day just by being herself. I have spent hours just watching her run and play and always brings a smile to my face! Jasmine came home with me from the American National is Boise, Idaho in April of 2006. It was pre-arranged that Mary would be flying with her to Boise and I would be bringing her home from there. This little bundle of fur and energy entered my life with a wiggle and a kiss and has been a huge part of my life ever since.
Jasmine went to a one day show the weekend before the National when she was just 9 months old. She did manage to keep all 4 feet on the ground long enough to convince me she could go to the National. At 9 months of age, under judge Betty Abbott, Jasmine proceeded to win Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best Puppy in Specialty! She finished her next time out, 2 weekends later, at Canada?s largest dog show! She was not shown again until Feb of 2007 where she was Best of Opposite Sex at the ASSCA Specialty. Then it was almost year before she hit the rings again at last year?s National where she was awarded Best of Opposite Sex in roughs and Best of Opposite Sex in Specialty under judge Sue Symington. She never ceases to amaze me!!!
Jasmine stands 22 inches at the shoulder, has a gorgeous layback with an equally strong, perfectly angled rear. She has a long neck that she really knows how to use and a very nice topline. She has a perfect scissors bite with full dentition, a full underjaw and a well filled, rounded muzzle. Her head planes are completely parallel and she has a stop that is perfectly placed. She has the leanest, cleanest head ever with no flaring and no depth. Jasmine?s coat is a deep orange color and fits her so well. She does not carry an immense amount of coat but it does fit her well.
Jasmine is very clean both coming and going and has a beautiful side gait.
I wanted Jasmine to bring some head properties I needed into my line. Her pedigree promises to do that. Puppies by her and my National Specialty winning smooth Ch. Tamaron The Real Deal (Kennedy) are eagerly awaited. Kennedy is sired by Jasmine?s brother Edge, Ch. Blossom Hill Cutting Edge.
In mid June of 2009 Jasmine (Ch. Blossom Hill Tamaron’s Promise) will be bred to Am/Can Ch. Tamaron The Real Deal (Kennedy). This is a closely line bred litter that has Am Ch Fantasy’s Bronze Talisman (Brandon) 6 times in the immediate pedigree. Also, the most Specialty winning collie in history Am Ch. Blossom Hill Full Circle (Cinnamon) is on both sides of this proposed pedigree as is Am Ch. Blossom Hill Barely Bronze (Hal). This star studded pedigree makes this a highly anticipated litter! Both rough and smooth expected in all colors but white.
