Celine’s name came to me when she was jsut a few days old. I knew the pick bitch was going to be “Celine” and her registered name of “Butterfly Kisses” just fit her so much. She always was gentle and quite content to sit in your arms and cuddle. She was quite aggressive as a puppy to make sure she got into your arms first though!
Celine has a huge full white collar and one white front leg. The left front leg is white just on the tips of her toes. She has a beautifully marked face that is very clear with no big black patches. She has a nice flat backskull, very clean, smooth sideskulls and a flat frontal bone. Her underjaw is full, her muzzle rounded and she has full dentition with a perfect scissors bite. If I was to improve on anything on her, I would give her more neck but she does use what she has. Celine is not a big bitch–she is quite petite–but is very sound coming and going, and her side gait is very pretty. She also has a very clean lip line and shows no depth at all.
Celine started her show career at the age of exactly 6 months. She was BW, BP her first 2 days in the ring. We travelled out to Lower Mainland at the end of October and there little miss Celine was WB at the Working/Herding Specialty under judge Horacio Pizzorno of Uruguay. Actually, this judge withheld RWB out of the remaining three bitches!! Celine was also WB the last day under judge Jean Fournier of Georgia. In November, Carol (who bred and co-owns Am/Can Ch. CassOri’s Echoes of a Legend with me) showed Celine 2 days and even though there was no class competition for her, she did win a Best Puppy in Group!Celine’s next show will be at the ASSCA Specialty in Feb/05. This stunning blue daughter of Buddy and Kiana’s will be a big part of Tamaron Collies!
