Layne is tri smooth son of Kennedy and Deja. He is a littermate to Dazzle and Izzy and like them, finished his championship very quickly. He is a bit taller than his dad and has a lot of bone and substance. Layne has a full collar on the off side with a broken collar on the show side. He has a very full muzzle, full dentition, a scissors bite and good occlusion. He also has a long, lean head and full underjaw.
Layne’s first show was a 42 hour trip to Springfield, Mass. to the American National with his litter sisters (Dazzle and Izzy) and his dad Kennedy. He was only 7 months old but handled the trip like a trooper and showed like he had been doing it for months. He was shown here and there in Canada, a few shows as a puppy and then put away until he grew up. He finished at the first show he was at as an adult.
Layne has a long neck set well onto his shoulders with his head and neck set in front of his shoulders. He has a great layback and an equally strong, well angulated rear. He has nice head planes and smooth sideskulls. His eyes are dark, almond shaped and set properly into his head.
Layne has sired 2 litters so far. One was bred here at Tamaron and the other is a co-bred litter at Rainycreek Collies. Out of the co-bred litter bred to Ch. Tamaron’s Heartfelt (Fallon), there are 2 champions so far with another one ready to hit the rings. The second litter was out of Ch. Tamaron’s Out All Night (Flirt) and out of the all smooth litter of 4, 2 are champions and 2 are in pet homes. One son Ch. Tamaron’s Viva Las Vegas is a multi puppy group winner and group placer. Dillon is owned by Shereen Caisley of Grande Prairie.
Layne is offered for sale but will be standing at stud here at Tamaron until such time as he is sold.
