To date, Tamaron Collies has bred close to 80 Canadian champions, as well as having bred many National Specialty Best of Breed, Best of Variety, Best of Winners and Best Puppy in Specialty winners. We are also very proud to have bred and own an all- breed Best in Show smooth collie, Am/Can Ch. Tamaron The Real Deal (Kennedy). The Tamaron Collies really shone at the 2007 National Specialty where they were awarded the following: Winners Dog Smooth (Ch. Tamaron’s On Edge- Noah), Reserve Winners Female Smooth (Ch. Tamaron’s Out All Night- Flirt), Best Of Variety, Best Puppy Smooth (Am/Can Ch. Tamaron The Real Deal- Kennedy) who was also Best Puppy in Specialty, Winners Dog and Best of Winners Rough (Ch. Tamaron’s CassOri Stir of Echoes- Elijah), Reserve Winners Dog Rough (Ch. Tamaron’s Haute Couture- Giorgio), Reserve Winners Female Rough (Ch. Tamaron’s Heartfelt- Fallon), and Best of Opposite Sex Rough (Ch. Blossom Hill Tamaron’s Promise- Jasmine), who was also Best of Opposite in Specialty. At the next National we attended which was in 2010, the 2 dogs we took were awarded Best of Variety Smooth (Am/Can Ch. Tamaron The Real Deal - Kennedy) and Best Of Opposite Smooth (Ch. Tamaron’s Kentucky Rain -Dazzle), who happen to be father/daughter!

We are also very proud to say that Kennedy finished 2008 as the # 2 Smooth Collie in Canada, shown only 5 weekends all year!!!! HE was # 1 Smooth in 2009 and 2010 and is currently #1 for 2011. He also finished his American championship in Jan of 2009 in only 2 weekends of showing and was undefeated in the classes. Kennedy finished in the US with many BB wins over Specials

American Nationals are the ultimate must-go-to show of the year where you finally get to put your hands on the dogs you have only read about all year, maybe find the perfect stud dog for your next breeding, meet new friends and have a blast seeing old friends again. The Tamaron Collies are really being noticed at the American Nationals where we have recently won many classes, pulled for Winners, and placed in very competitive Stud Dog classes.
We also have 2 International Champions, 1 multi Specialty winning Australian Champion, numerous obedience and rally titled collies, many Herding Instinct titles and now even a TDI certified therapy dog (way to go Kennedy!!).
